After reconditioning rods and whenever you install new bolts, removing the cap can be a major problem.
The Rod Cap Splitter was developed to safely remove the cap without pounding or otherwise deforming the cap. By turning
the hefty handle you exert pressure where it's needed and SAFELY seperate the rod and cap. Made for rods with the
big end measuring 2.125 additional splitting heads are available (see below) and can be interchanged simply.
