Crower Cams & Equipment Co. was founded in 1955 by legendary racer, innovator, and engineer Bruce Crower. What began as a small operation building performance parts for fellow racers grew into one of the most recognized names in the high-performance automotive and racing industries.
For more than 70 years, the Crower name has stood for American manufacturing, innovation, precision, and performance. Generations of racers, engine builders, enthusiasts, and industry professionals have trusted Crower components-from camshafts and lifters to rocker arms, crankshafts, connecting rods, clutches, and complete valvetrain systems.
The Next Generation of Crower
In 2026, Crower entered a new chapter when Louis Floquet, grandson of founder Bruce Crower, assumed ownership and leadership of the company.
For Louis, taking the helm of Crower is about much more than owning a company. It is about carrying forward a family legacy built over seven decades while investing in the people, equipment, technology, and new products that will define Crower's next generation.
Under Louis's leadership, Crower remains committed to the principles on which Bruce built the company: build quality parts, continue innovating, support the racing community, and manufacture in America.
Today, Crower is investing in modern manufacturing technology, expanding its product offerings, and developing the next generation of performance components-all while preserving the craftsmanship, engineering expertise, and racing heritage that made the Crower name what it is today.
The ownership may have entered a new generation. The mission has not changed.
